By integrating food service, study areas, social spaces, and landscape experiences, we're establishing a framework for campus life that supports both formal learning and informal community building in environments that are biodiverse, sensitive, and unique.
The comprehensive campus revitalization program encompasses three interconnected projects: Landscape Masterplan (Paisajismo), Rooftop Garden (Jardín Azotea), and El Cubo Cafeteria. The comprehensive paisajismo strategy revitalizes green spaces, converting them into emblematic gathering points with new outdoor work areas and comfortable social zones.
The Rooftop Garden creates an outdoor oasis, spanning approximately 2700 m². Each area has distinct characteristics: one flexible and open, another spatially defined by surrounding buildings. El Cubo Cafeteria seamlessly connects elegant interior dining with outdoor spaces, allowing natural light and ventilation to flow throughout.
Universidad Iberoamericana's campus improvement program demonstrates how thoughtful landscape architecture can strengthen community bonds while creating a cohesive identity. Just as the university's architecture creates fluid connections between buildings, our design unifies all green spaces through continuous landscape interventions that invite gathering, learning, and social interaction.
