Two years on from winning the inaugural Bridge Architect award, the award once again affirms our position as one of the world's leading bridge architecture practices.

The New Civil Engineer (NCE) Bridge Awards celebrate the extraordinary projects and visionary professionals who are reshaping bridge engineering.

Having won the inaugural award in 2024 and been shortlisted again in both 2025 and 2026, this latest recognition celebrates the continued growth of our specialist bridge architecture team and the strength of a portfolio that spans rail, road, pedestrian and active travel infrastructure across the globe.

The judges recognised our integrated approach to bridge design, highlighting an ability to combine technical excellence, sustainability and collaboration across disciplines.

This submission showcases a strong and varied portfolio spanning the last two years, encompassing bridges of different forms, materials and construction techniques, from footbridge standardisation across multiple projects to striking articulated structures. A clear ethos of sustainability, zero carbon and collaboration runs throughout, with demonstrated technical excellence, leadership and growth across a range of multidisciplinary infrastructure programmes.

Winning Bridge Architect of the Year for a second time is a tremendous achievement and reflects the passion, creativity and dedication of our specialist bridge architecture team. It is also a testament to the trust our clients and collaborators place in us to deliver infrastructure that is both technically outstanding and architecturally inspiring. We are incredibly proud of what we've achieved together and excited about the future of bridge design.

Nick McGough, Director

We believe that infrastructure should enrich places as well as enable movement, creating structures that are memorable and deeply connected to the people who use them. This award recognises our continued investment in innovation, collaboration and design excellence as we help shape infrastructure worldwide.

We would like to thank our clients, partners and project teams whose collaboration makes this work possible, and congratulate all of this year's finalists for their contribution to advancing bridge design.
