People-focused

Both stations transform previously derelict railway sites into welcoming civic destinations that prioritise community connection and urban vitality. At Dalston, integrating the East London Line with new homes, shops, and a public square created a lively hub that improves everyday journeys while supporting wider regeneration.

Inventive

Together the stations exemplify responsible stewardship of existing infrastructure, inventive problem-solving, and a commitment to creating inclusive, vibrant places for people. Close collaboration with stakeholders allowed the team to solve spatial and technical challenges creatively, delivering an efficient layout and enhanced public realm.

Responsive

At Hoxton, the sensitive reuse of Victorian brick arches preserves local heritage while introducing contemporary materials and accessible circulation. Overcoming significant structural constraints, the design brings new life to historic fabric and opens it to the neighbourhood.
